Q: What do you like best about working at Glidewell Laboratories?

A: I used to work in R&D at a pharmaceutical company before I joined Glidewell’s R&D department as a Senior Scientist. Currently I am working on the next generation of dental material that will have a very exciting property. The best part of working at Glidewell for me is that I can use my knowledge and past experience to contribute to the company’s R&D innovations for new products.

Q: Why did you choose Glidewell instead of a different company?

A: The reason I chose Glidewell goes back to my background. My educational background is in materials science and chemistry. After I graduated, I went to work in the medicinal industry at a pharmaceutical company. After working for many years as a medicinal chemist in drug discovery, I decided to switch to the materials side to challenge myself in a new way. I think Glidewell is a good place for me. The company culture is really friendly and the employees are really motivated to work on what they’re doing. Everything moves fast, there’s a strong focus on R&D innovation, and everybody wants to make the company grow.

Q: What do you see for the future of the company?

A: I think there’s a really bright future for the company. The reason I say this is because I’m used to working in R&D and I know that funding R&D is just like developing the future. It represents a company’s long-term growth. Mr. Glidewell really has good long-term foresight, and he’s willing to invest in and fund R&D to develop more new products.
