Michael DiTolla, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Michael DiTolla is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, and he is a fellow of the AGD. After working in private practice for 15 years, he became director of clinical education and research at Glidewell, where he gained an intimate knowledge of U.S. dentists’ crown & bridge habits. From 2006 to 2009, Dr. DiTolla led the clinical team at Glidewell that developed and brought BruxZir® Zirconia to market. In 2011, he received the “Most Effective Dentist Educator” award in a nationwide survey of dentists. Four years later, he became the director of clinical affairs at Dentsply Sirona, and in 2017 he was named the vice president of clinical affairs and communications at AEGIS Communications. Dr. DiTolla has given over 1,000 lectures to dentists worldwide, and his online videos have been viewed more than 10 million times by clinicians.

Dan E. Fischer, DDS
Dan E. Fischer, DDS

Dr. Dan Fischer graduated from Loma Linda University with a DDS in 1974. He maintained a full-time private practice for 15 years, working after hours on research and development. Since 1990, Dr. Fischer has worked extensively in research and development, but still maintains a part-time practice with an emphasis on esthetic dentistry. As the president/CEO of Utah-based Ultradent Products Inc., he is extensively involved in the research and development of many products widely used in the dental profession, with numerous U.S. and foreign patents granted or pending. Dr. Fischer also serves as an adjunct professor at Loma Linda University and the University of Texas at San Antonio. Clifton C. Georgaklis, DMD

Dr. Clifton C. Georgaklis was educated at Yale and the University of Connecticut Dental School, where he was at the top of his class. Upon graduation, Dr. Georgaklis took over an existing 50-year-old practice in Brookline, Massachusetts, where he developed the original concept of six-month adult cosmetic orthodontics. He has performed it since 1991, and has been publishing and lecturing on various aspects of it since 1999. Carlos Meulener, DMD

Dr. Carlos Meulener graduated with a DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1979. In 1982, Dr. Meulener began practicing in Little Silver, New Jersey, where he still resides and practices today. He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association. It is Dr. Meulener’s participation in many annual continuing education courses that keep him and his practice on the cutting edge of dentistry. Todd C. Snyder, DDS

Dr. Todd C. Snyder received his DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1994. He subsequently completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in La Jolla, California. Dr. Snyder returned to the UCLA School of Dentistry as faculty in the Center for Esthetic Dentistry. There, he codeveloped and codirected the first and only comprehensive two-year postgraduate program in Esthetic and Contemporary Restorative Dentistry, before conducting research in UCLA’s Biomaterials Department. Dr. Snyder is a graduate of FACE in Burlingame, California, and is a faculty member at Esthetic Professionals in Tarzana, California. Presently, Dr. Snyder spends his time in private practice, researching and lecturing nationwide, in addition to authoring articles for various dental journals and continuing education courses. Mark Baker, CDT

Mark Baker completed his Dental Technician diploma in London, England, in 1977, before relocating to Southern Germany. For the next four years, Mark gained hands-on experience fabricating fixed and removable prosthetic restorations in one of Germany’s most prestigious laboratories. In 1985, Mark continued his journey and migrated to Sydney, Australia, where he opened his own successful aesthetic crown & bridge laboratory. Mark is an avid supporter and member of many international study groups, including the International Society for Dental Ceramics (ISDC), and has taught crown & bridge courses throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Currently, Mark works as product marketing manager for shade communication at Vident, the North American subsidiary of VITA.
