Glidewell Direct offers waxes that were originally designed and tested for use in our own laboratory. Designed with technicians in mind, our waxes are easy to carve and help provide accurate casting.
CARVING WAXES - These medium-hard carving waxes are easy to carve or shave and are dimensionally stable. They are not brittle or gummy but do maintain an even degree of workability in a wide range of temperatures. All of the waxes are ashless and burn out clean. Carving waxes are indicated for waxing copings, full contour castings, and are specially designed for pressed ceramics.
DIAGNOSTIC WAXES - These diagnostic waxes can assist you in making lifelike (A1 shade or translucent shades) recreations of dentition. The waxes are easy to carve and add to with perfect blending properties. Diagnostic waxes are available in individual wax tins or the Diagnostic Artist Palette for a more esthetic and realistic presentation.
SOFT NEWPORT WAX - This gummy wax is similar to Rope wax, and comes in a translucent white. Its soft nature makes it ideal for use when placing anterior wax shells.
BLOCK-OUT WAX - This pink block-out wax was designed especially for partial framework cases. It is soft and will be washed out in a boiling tank.
WAX PONTIC KIT - The Wax Pontics Kit contains 180 pieces, complete with 10 pieces of each size and mold; each piece has 4 units. Burns out clean. |
