Michael DiTolla, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Michael DiTolla is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, and he is a fellow of the AGD. After working in private practice for 15 years, he became director of clinical education and research at Glidewell, where he gained an intimate knowledge of U.S. dentists’ crown & bridge habits. From 2006 to 2009, Dr. DiTolla led the clinical team at Glidewell that developed and brought BruxZir® Zirconia to market. In 2011, he received the “Most Effective Dentist Educator” award in a nationwide survey of dentists. Four years later, he became the director of clinical affairs at Dentsply Sirona, and in 2017 he was named the vice president of clinical affairs and communications at AEGIS Communications. Dr. DiTolla has given over 1,000 lectures to dentists worldwide, and his online videos have been viewed more than 10 million times by clinicians.

James R. Dunn, DDS
James R. Dunn

Dr. James Dunn formerly was a full-time faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he received his dental degree, and is currently in private practice in Auburn, California. Dr. Dunn has been a principal investigator for numerous clinical and laboratory trials of tooth-colored materials. He is a Chicago Dental Society Gordon Christensen Award recipient and received the Award of Excellence in Cosmetic Dental Education from the AACD. A member of the ADA and fellow of the AAED, AADR, IADR, Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry, and the Academy of Dental Materials, Dr. Dunn continues to lecture and give workshops on esthetic restorative dentistry and dental photography. Robert A. Lowe, DDS, FAGD, FICD, FADI, FACD, FIADFE, FASDA

Dr. Robert Lowe graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1982 and was a clinical professor in restorative dentistry at the school until its closure in 1993. Since January 2000, Dr. Lowe has maintained a private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. He lectures internationally, and his work is frequently published in well-known dental journals on esthetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Lowe has earned Fellowship in the AGD, ICD, ADI, ACD, IADFE and American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA), received the 2004 Gordon Christensen Outstanding Lecturers Award, and, in 2005, received Diplomate status on the American Board of Esthetic Dentistry. Daniel Melker, DDS

Dr. Daniel Melker graduated from the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1975 with specialty training in periodontics. Since then, he has maintained a private practice in periodontics in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Melker lectures at the University of Florida, UAB and LSU periodontic and prosthodontic graduate programs on the periodontic-restorative relationship. He also presents at the University of Houston and Baylor University. Dr. Melker has published several articles in national dental magazines, as well as The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, and has twice been honored with the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Gold Medal. Ellis J. Neiburger, DDS
Ellis J. Neiburger, DDS

Dr. Ellis “Skip” Neiburger graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1968, where he did postgraduate work on pulp histology in the department of oral pathology. Dr. Neiburger currently practices general dentistry in Waukegan, Illinois. A former vice president of the American Association of Forensic Dentists, Dr. Neiburger has been the association’s journal editor since 1978. Jose-Luis Ruiz, DDS

Dr. Jose-Luis Ruiz has been in full-time private practice in the Studio District of Los Angeles, California, for 20 years. His focus is on treating complex cosmetic, rehabilitation and implant cases. Dr. Ruiz is currently director of the Los Angeles Institute of Esthetic Dentistry and an associate instructor at Dr. Gordon Christensen’s Practical Clinical Courses (PCC) in Utah. He was the course director of the University of Southern California Esthetic Dentistry Continuum from 2004 to 2009.
