Dr. Len Boksman earned his dental degree from the faculty of dentistry at Western University in Ontario, Canada, in 1972. After practicing in his hometown of Burlington for seven years, he returned to his alma mater as an assistant professor of operative dentistry, and attained tenure as an associate professor shortly thereafter. Recognized by Dentistry Today as one of the continent’s top dental educators for many years, Len authored more than 100 articles, and was the first international editorial board member for REALITY magazine. Having returned to private practice full-time in 1987, Dr. Boksman recently retired, and now volunteers his time teaching at the School of Oral Health Sciences at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Jennifer Carpio made her first foray into dentistry with a dental assistant course at the local Regional Occupational Program (ROP). Feeding her penchant for the work and passion for self-improvement, she fervently pursued more advanced certifications, completing RDAEF requirements at the University of California, Los Angeles, and RDAEF2 requirements at the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Association. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Jennifer is proficient at coronal polishing, X-rays and ultrasonic scaling, among other advanced functions. Dr. James DeSantis received his dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1997, and completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery while earning his medical degree in 2000 from the university’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Charles Liebow graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1970, and then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1973. Over the course of his teaching career, he held professorships at Cornell University Medical College, Louisiana State University Medical School, and State University of New York, Buffalo, where he contributed heavily to the scientific community with research on a wealth of topics, including groundbreaking work in both the oral and pancreatic cancer fields. He passed away in June 2013.

Dr. Cornelis Pameijer earned his first dental degree in 1967 from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. After moving to the United States, he served as a faculty member at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine for 10 years, during which time he completed an American dental degree and earned an advanced graduate studies certificate in prosthodontics. In 1992, he received his Ph.D. from Lund University in Sweden. Dr. Pameijer lectures worldwide, and has been regularly acclaimed by the Consumer Research Council as one of America’s Top Dentists since 2009.
