Discus Dental has some iconic products (for example, its NV MicroLaser™ caused me to give my last diode away!), and one product that I see daily but don’t give too much thought to is Office Art. It’s not down and dirty like some patient education photos can be, but it’s not as abstract as Monet or as lighthearted as dogs playing poker. It sets a mood that I find appropriate for a dental office. A beautiful smile is a powerful thing, and it’s hard for me not to feel a little more upbeat or optimistic when I see Office Art hanging in the reception room! Photos are available in color or black and white, and framing is available as well. I have always gone with the black and white because I find it a bit more evocative; I like the hint of mystery from the lack of color, and, certainly, the smiles become the focal point.
