Efficiently Place Implants Right Where You Need Them
Whether you are seeking maximum precision and efficiency for a single-unit implant or a safe, predictable surgical procedure for a full-arch reconstruction, Glidewell’s DTP team can help set your case up for an optimal prosthetic outcome. Our experienced technicians create treatment plans and surgical guides that not only ensure your implants are positioned in the maximum amount of bone, at a safe distance from vital anatomical structures — they also help you achieve an esthetic, highly functional restoration informed by Glidewell’s experience as the largest, most technologically advanced implant lab lab in the U.S.
Our DTP team is well equipped to help you maximize productivity and profitability on your implant cases. You can efficiently submit your scans, have the optimal positioning of your implants digitally determined, receive your surgical plan and guide, and place your implants in the exact location needed for the restoration you envision for your patient.
Glidewell has the surgical and restorative expertise to help you efficiently place implants, avoid surprises during surgery, and establish the foundation for a smooth, easy-to-deliver restoration, saving you chair time and expenses along the way. From tooth-supported guides for single or multiple implants, to tissue- or bone-supported guides for fixed or removable full-arch cases, our team can help you deliver a safe, smooth and streamlined surgical experience for your patients.
Customized screw-retained temporary crowns are available for immediate loading at the surgical appointment, and help manage the soft tissue at the implant site for an esthetic emergence profile.
Additionally, we offer stackable surgical guides to aid doctors with complex full-arch restorations. With these stackable guides, you can reduce bone, place full-arch implants, and deliver an immediate fixed screw-retained provisional in one efficient visit, helping you provide "teeth in a day" for your fully edentulous paitents. To learn more about our multi-level surgical guides, visit here.
When the time comes to restore your case, our lab has the capability to deliver the precise restoration that your treatment plan was designed for, concluding a cohesive, comprehensive approach to implants, from surgical placement to final prosthesis. This prosthetically driven approach is unlike any service available from other DTP providers — and can help you provide implant therapy to more patients while reducing costs for your practice.
To maximize your savings and efficiency, take advantage of the Glidewell HT™ Implant Bundle, which includes everything you need for digitally guided implant placement, healing or temporization, and impression-taking for one low price. Customized screw-retained temporary crowns are available for immediate loading at the surgical appointment, and help manage the soft tissue at the implant site for an esthetic emergence profile. Additionally, all restorations over Glidewell HT Implants are billed at a reduced lab fee of 20% off at Glidewell.

Clinical Studies
The patient sought a permanent replacement for his retained primary lateral incisor. To maximize surgical precision and ensure restorative-driven treatment planning in the esthetic zone, the case was submitted to the DTP team at Glidewell.
After extracting the tooth, the clinician created the implant osteotomy in the exact position determined by the digital treatment plan. The dentist placed the implant directly through the guide, completing the surgical protocol.
Four months later, the clinician delivered the restoration with ease, as the digital treatment plan positioned the implant in the precise location needed to support a screw-retained crown that emerged from the soft tissue in a natural, esthetic manner.
An intraoral view shows the available restorative space, which appeared ideal for four implants. I chose to use DTP with guided surgery to ensure the implants were placed in optimal position for a functional and esthetic result.
The DTP team used the patient’s information, the digital impression and CBCT scans to create a proposal for treatment. Seeing where the teeth will reside within this plan provided me with the assurance needed to move forward with implant placement.
The BruxZir® Esthetic implant crowns were cemented over custom abutments. The patient was so pleased with the outcome and the appearance of his implant restorations that a short time after his treatment was concluded, he returned to me to have the surrounding teeth restored with BruxZir Esthetic as well.
— Clinical dentistry by Paresh B. Patel, DDS
After reducing the bone and sequentially drilling the osteotomies using the multi-level surgical guide according to the approved digital treatment plan provided by Glidewell, six Glidewell HT Implants were placed in the exact positions needed to support an esthetic restoration.
After connecting the laser-labeled, pre-cut temporary cylinders to the implants and seating the prosthetic delivery guide, the immediate provisional was seated over the cylinders, and a pick-up procedure was performed to secure the cylinders within the prosthesis.
After completing the fabrication of the provisional implant prosthesis using the all-inclusive parts provided by Glidewell, the patient was extremely pleased to have implants placed and immediately loaded with a functional provisional restoration in one efficient appointment.
