  • Recognize the anatomical correlates of sleep apnea and snoring in patients
  • Utilize multiple sleep screening methods, including the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, the STOP-Bang Questionnaire and the "Snore +" protocol
  • Identify differences between children and adults with sleep apnea
  • Understand how to refer patients to the appropriate medical professional and prescribe PMAD devices as necessary

Dr. Jamison Spencer is the director of the Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ in Boise, Idaho. A past president of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), he is a founding faculty member of both the AACP’s Craniofacial Pain Mini- Residency and the AACP/Tufts University Dental Sleep Medicine Mini-Residency program, and he developed and taught a cadaver-based head and neck anatomy program at Boise State University.
