In this course, Dr. Manalili provides a practical overview of suturing techniques, highlighting how foundational principles and core concepts guide successful wound closure. Learners will review stability, hemostasis, primary closure, and tension-free healing while building skills in tissue evaluation, instrument handling, and suture selection to support predictable outcomes and minimize complications.

Taylor Manalili, DDS

Director of Clinical Prosthodontics at Glidewell Dental, where she practices in the onsite dental clinic and plays an integral role in advancing clinical and laboratory excellence. Her work includes enhancing laboratory protocols, conducting clinical research, and delivering advanced restorative care, including implant placement, chairside restorations, and full‑mouth rehabilitations. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University. At Stony Brook, she also completed an advanced certificate in prosthodontics with a focus on digital technologies.

Dr. Manalili is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and serves as Prosthodontic faculty for the Resnik International Implant Institute. With over a decade of teaching experience across a variety of educational settings, she brings a thoughtful, clinically driven approach to education and patient care.
