Eileen Derr is a professional educator who previously practiced clinical dental hygiene in the San Francisco Bay Area. After receiving a master’s degree from California State University, East Bay, she began to teach dental hygiene part-time, eventually progressing to consultant and director of dental hygiene. Derr has created and managed a number of health education programs for various organizations in the Bay Area, including Kaiser Permanente, the Palo Alto Medical Foundation and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. She is also a member of the Washington County Public Health Advisory Council in Oregon.
