Course Objectives (2 CE Credit)
This course demonstrates the steps and techniques for digitally guided implant placement. The course includes case diagnosis and treatment planning, utilizing CBCT, full arch impression technique, submitting a case for Digital Treatment Planning and utilizing the fully guided implant surgery kit.
It also addresses the importance of using a virtual surgery to gauge your comfort levels, prior to a surgical decision regarding the case.
Note: Case Examples used: Anterior Guide, Premolar, Molar.
- Define the protocol, including steps and techniques, required for a digitally guided implant placement.
- Use the protocol to plan and design a prosthetically driven treatment, for submission to Digital Treatment Planning.
- To demonstrate an understanding of the fully guided implant surgery kit and its applications to guided implant surgery.
- Simulate and evaluate realistic surgical decisions, using virtual surgery software.
