Clear-Lock Retainers provide a convenient service for patients who have completed orthodontic treatment. Fabricated from 1.0 mm clear, BPA-free copolyester, these retainers are custom-thermoformed for optimum fit.
Clear-Lock retainers can be made from conventional impressions or models. Your patient’s models undergo a digital scan to create three-dimensional data (which we save for 7 years). In the event a patient loses or damages a retainer, replacements can be reordered from the patient’s digitally stored data via your faxed or emailed prescription.
Each Clear-Lock prescription comes with two, four or six single-arch retainers, providing insurance against inevitable loss or damage.

NO-FAULT REMAKE POLICY: Glidewell is pleased to process all remakes or adjustments at no additional charge if requested within the warranty period and accompanied by the return of the original appliance.
LIMITED WARRANTY/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. Glidewell (“the lab”) warrants that all dental devices (a “device”) are made according to your specification and approval in the belief that the device will be useful and MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Subject to the return of a device that is placed and then fails, the lab will repair or replace the device without charge for the cost of materials and workmanship or refund the original price paid, at the lab’s option, for up to six months for Clear-Lock Retainers.
Clinical Tips
Rinse appliance with warm water before insertion and after wearing. Store dry in supplied case for optimum protection. To clean, gently brush the appliance using a soft toothbrush and toothpaste. While removing the appliance, grasp with both hands. To prevent breakage, do NOT warp or flex the appliance.
