What Will I Learn?

As a cornerstone of any restorative dental practice, the dental crown is a staple offering that clinicians strive to perfect for their patients. In this course, attendees will study the steps required for smooth and efficient delivery of monolithic zirconia restorations. Learn and practice the techniques required, including finalization of the fit, occlusion and proximal contacts, as well as the methods and materials for final finishing and polishing.

This online CE course for dentists will also cover techniques for bonding and cementation, including the prevention of sensitivity. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn new, innovative techniques for delivering a monolithic zirconia restoration, while earning 1.5 hours of CE credit.

Course participants will learn how to do the following:

  • Explain material properties and how they influence fit and function
  • Apply protocols to adjust contacts and occlusion
  • Understand which burs and polishers provide optimal results
  • Administer cementation and bonding protocols
