Dr. Joyce Bassett is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She practices comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is an associate member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and a fellow of the AGD. Dr. Bassett serves as a Kois Center® Mentor, and is an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she has taught the esthetic continuum. Dr. Steven Cutbirth graduated from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in 1979, and went on to complete a two-year fellowship at Baylor College of Dentistry. He was a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute in Florida for 25 years. He currently practices restorative dentistry in Waco, Texas, and is the director of the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, a hands-on, complex restorative teaching center that conducts courses in Dallas. He has lectured and published extensively on the topics of systematic restoration of severely worn dentition, diagnosis and treatment of occlusal problems and facial pain, complex esthetic restorative dentistry, and ridge modification and bone grafting for small-diameter implant utilization. Dr. Mona Goodarzi earned her DDS from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where she excelled in a post-doctoral residency program in hospital dentistry. She maintains an Irvine, California-based practice that is focused on cosmetic dentistry, and is unique in part due to the space being shared with a board-certified dermatologist. Together, both doctors bring expertise from their respective disciplines to address patients’ concerns regarding facial esthetics. Dr. Robert Garfield is a 1963 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. With professional experiences including a former assistant professorship in fixed prosthodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a solo private practice, he has authored numerous articles and presented at most major dental meetings. In 1996, Dr. Garfield received the Dentist of the Year Award from the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry and, in 2004, the Spirit of Leadership Award from the California Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Timothy Kosinski graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from Wayne State University School of Medicine. An adjunct clinical professor at UDM School of Dentistry, he serves on the editorial review board of numerous dental journals. Dr. Kosinski is a Diplomate of the ABOI/ID, ICOI and American Society of Osseointegration, and a Fellow of the AAID, ACD, ICD and ADI. He has a Mastership in the AGD and is immediate past president of the Michigan AGD, from which he received the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition award in 2009 and 2014. Dr. Siamak Abai is a graduate of Harvard University’s Advanced Graduate Education program in Prosthodontics with a master’s degree in oral biology and prosthodontics. He earned his DDS degree from Columbia University, followed by two years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry training. He is the director of clinical research and development at the Glidewell International Technology Center, where he is involved in the advancement of guided implant surgery through an all-digital workflow. Dr. Abai is a lecturer for the UCLA School of Dentistry’s Advanced Prosthodontics residency program, and practices implant, reconstructive and esthetic dentistry in Irvine, California. Dr. Justin Chi joined Glidewell Laboratories as a clinical research associate in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Chi’s previous education included receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry, and earning his CDT in crown and bridge in 2007. While working at E4D Technologies as a dental technician and clinical educator from 2007 to 2011, he aided in the development of new-user documentation, and led basic and advanced training seminars for dental professionals both locally and abroad. Dr. Anamaria Muresan is a graduate of the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Prior to receiving her DMD, Dr. Muresan joined Glidewell Laboratories in 1995 as a dental technician in the lab’s BioTemps department. Three years later, she received her CDT in ceramics and spent 12 years as ceramic manager in Fixed Prosthodontics. Her management responsibilities at the time included CAD/CAM systems for fabrication of pressed dental restorations. In July 2013, after taking leave to further her education, Dr. Muresan returned to Glidewell Laboratories to join the Operatory team as director of clinical research. Recipient of the British Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ 2004 Lord Austin Prize for Manufacturing Engineering, David Leeson graduated top of the class from Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England, with a First Class Honours BSME before earning his MSc specializing in manufacturing automation from Cranfield University. He put his considerable talents to work at Cosworth Racing UK and Pankl Racing Systems’ SP Crankshaft division, developing processes and manufacturing technologies to produce racing engines for Formula One and NASCAR, as well as niche road variants for renowned vehicle brands. In January 2007, David joined Glidewell Laboratories as a manufacturing engineer, and was promoted to engineering manager in 2011, and director of engineering in 2015. During his tenure, he has supervised the ground-up development of an internal engineering department capable of designing the next generation of dental manufacturing technologies.
