Joyce L. Bassett, DDS, FAACD, FAGD

Dr. Joyce Bassett is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She practices comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is an associate member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and a fellow of the AGD. Dr. Bassett serves as a Kois Center® Mentor, and is an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she has taught the esthetic continuum. Steven T. Cutbirth, DDS

Dr. Steven Cutbirth graduated from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in 1979, and went on to complete a two-year fellowship at Baylor College of Dentistry. He was a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute in Florida for 25 years. He currently practices restorative dentistry in Waco, Texas, and is the director of the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, a hands-on, complex restorative teaching center that conducts courses in Dallas. He has lectured and published extensively on the topics of systematic restoration of severely worn dentition, diagnosis and treatment of occlusal problems and facial pain, complex esthetic restorative dentistry, and ridge modification and bone grafting for small-diameter implant utilization. Mona Goodarzi, DDS

Dr. Mona Goodarzi earned her DDS from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where she excelled in a post-doctoral residency program in hospital dentistry. She maintains an Irvine, California-based practice that is focused on cosmetic dentistry, and is unique in part due to the space being shared with a board-certified dermatologist. Together, both doctors bring expertise from their respective disciplines to address patients’ concerns regarding facial esthetics. Robert E. Garfield, DDS, FAGD, FAO

Dr. Robert Garfield is a 1963 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. With professional experiences including a former assistant professorship in fixed prosthodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a solo private practice, he has authored numerous articles and presented at most major dental meetings. In 1996, Dr. Garfield received the Dentist of the Year Award from the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry and, in 2004, the Spirit of Leadership Award from the California Academy of General Dentistry. He has been a member of the CAGD and SCAGD boards of directors since 1979, serving in all board positions, and is presently the assistant editor of GP News and the executive director of the SCAGD. Timothy F. Kosinski, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Timothy Kosinski graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition to serving on the editorial review board of numerous dental journals, Dr. Kosinski has published over 240 articles and contributed to textbooks on the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry. He is currently the editor of General Dentistry, the journal of the AGD.

Louis Malcmacher, DDS, MAGD

Siamak Abai, DDS, MMedSc

Dr. Siamak Abai earned his DDS degree from Columbia University in 2004, followed by two years of residency in general dentistry. After two years of general private practice in Huntington Beach, California, he returned to academia and received an MMedSc degree and a certificate in prosthodontics from Harvard University. Dr. Abai brings nearly 10 years of clinical, research and lecturing experience to his role as director of clinical research and development for Glidewell Laboratories’ Implant division. He is also editor-in-chief and clinical editor of Inclusive™ magazine. Before joining Glidewell in January 2012, Dr. Abai practiced at the Wöhrle Dental Implant Clinic in Newport Beach, California. 

Justin Chi, DDS, CDT

Dr. Justin Chi is director of clinical technologies at Glidewell. He joined Glidewell as a clinical research associate in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Chi’s previous education included receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry and earning his CDT in crown & bridge in 2007.

Anamaria Muresan, DMD, ME, CDT

Dr. Anamaria Muresan is a graduate of the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Prior to receiving her DMD, Dr. Muresan spent 12 years as ceramic manager at Glidewell Laboratories. In 2013, after earning her DMD and completing a one-year continuum in implant dentistry, Dr. Muresan returned to Glidewell Dental to join the operatory team as director of clinical research.

David Leeson, Director of Engineering

David Leeson received the British Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ renowned Lord Austin Prize for Manufacturing Engineering in 2004, and graduated top of the class with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Loughborough University in England, followed by a Master of Science degree specializing in automation from Cranfield University. David worked in the automotive industry on projects spanning high-performance road cars to Formula One racing. In 2007, he joined Glidewell Dental as a manufacturing engineer and was promoted to director of engineering in 2015.
