Dr. Page Barden is a periodontist who maintains a general dental practice in Cumming, Georgia, and is an American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) implant faculty member. He earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a degree in periodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Gordon Christensen is a practicing prosthodontist in Provo, Utah. He is director of Practical Clinical Courses and CEO of Clinicians Report. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics; Fellow and Diplomate of the ICOI; and a distinguished member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Christensen and his wife Rella are cofounders of the nonprofit Gordon J. Christensen Clinicians Report® (formerly CRA Newsletter).
Dr. Chad Duplantis is a graduate of the School of Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has been in private practice since 2000 in the Fort Worth, Texas, area, and has been incorporating CAD/CAM technology into his practice since 2004. Dr. Duplantis lectures and publishes frequently in the field of digital dentistry, with a particular focus on how to transition new technology into the private dental practice.
Dr. Siamak Abai earned his DDS degree from Columbia University in 2004, followed by two years of residency in general dentistry. After two years of general private practice in Huntington Beach, California, he returned to academia and received an MMedSc degree and a certificate in prosthodontics from Harvard University. Dr. Abai brings nearly 10 years of clinical, research and lecturing experience to his role as director of clinical research and development for Glidewell Laboratories’ Implant division. He is also editor-in-chief and clinical editor of Inclusive™ magazine. Before joining Glidewell in January 2012, Dr. Abai practiced at the Wöhrle Dental Implant Clinic in Newport Beach, California.
Dr. Justin Chi is director of clinical technologies at Glidewell. He joined Glidewell as a clinical research associate in 2015 after graduating from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Chi’s previous education included receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in dental laboratory technology from the LSU School of Dentistry and earning his CDT in crown & bridge in 2007.
Dr. Anamaria Muresan is a graduate of the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Prior to receiving her DMD, Dr. Muresan spent 12 years as ceramic manager at Glidewell Laboratories. In 2013, after earning her DMD and completing a one-year continuum in implant dentistry, Dr. Muresan returned to Glidewell Dental to join the operatory team as director of clinical research.
Dr. Neil Park is vice president of clinical affairs for Glidewell. He received his DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in Florida before moving on to an accomplished career in the dental implant field, developing continuing education programs and implementing a predoctoral implant curriculum in universities throughout North America. In 2016, Dr. Park joined Glidewell, where he oversees clinical research as well as training and education programs for implant and restorative solutions.
Gary Pritchard received his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and went on to serve as general counsel for Clayton Homes, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Company, and Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company. As a board-certified trial lawyer, Gary was a managing partner for Pritchard & Hanszen in Houston, Texas, and holds active law licenses in Texas, Arizona, Tennessee and California. Gary is currently one of the in-house labor counselors for Glidewell, where he has been integral in instituting policies that protect both employees and the company.
Joe Hattouni received his degree in dental technology in 1991 from Riverside Community College in California. During this time, he began working at Glidewell Laboratories. He has held numerous positions in the company’s Fixed department, starting as a ceramist, moving to quality control and, in 2015, being promoted to the general manager position. Will Schmidt brings more than 17 years of dental experience, including 15 as a registered dental assistant, to his role at Glidewell. He has worked in multiple settings, from private practice, to group practice, to oral surgery in a hospital’s trauma center. Prior to entering the dental field, Will served as a U.S. Marine, an experience that he credits for honing his appreciation for detail.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, Dave Morales graduated in 1981 from Northwest School of Dental Technology in Chicago. He worked in several laboratories in all phases of denture fabrication and garnered 12 years of in-house and chairside experience while also becoming PTC Certified and Valplast® Certified. He joined Glidewell in 1995 and, in 2007, became general manager of the dentures, valplast and thermoforming department.
Darryl Withrow graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in anthropology before joining Glidewell Laboratories in 1989. Darryl began his career in the Shipping and Receiving department before moving to the Accounting department, where he worked in accounts payable and as assistant to the controller. Nhung Truong worked as a drafter while attending school, completing her degree in architecture in 2002. She moved to the U.S. from Vietnam in 2009 and began her career at Glidewell Laboratories three years later in the Removables department. With 16 years of experience working with 2D and 3D CAD software, Nhung was chosen to work on research and development for CAD/CAM Dentures. Nhung was promoted to CAD supervisor in 2014. Duy Lam started with Glidewell Laboratories as a fixed wax and metal finisher technician in 2013 and, within eight months, was promoted to a management position in the Fixed department.
