Bridges: Replace One or More Missing Teeth Main Image

This patient suffered an accident to her front tooth as a child that prevented her permanent tooth from coming in. Her permanent tooth was eventually removed, and the patient lived with a removable partial denture for some time but wanted a more long-term solution. A dental bridge was fabricated to replace her missing tooth.

Growing up I never really smiled, so I didn’t even think I knew how to. Since receiving my bridge, I smile all the time and I’m totally happy with the results.
– Chantel, Bridge Patient

WHAT IS A BRIDGE?

Bridges are:

  • Designed to “bridge” the gap created by missing teeth by using your existing healthy teeth as support
  • Provided by your dentist to improve the appearance and function of your smile

CAN A BRIDGE HELP YOU?

Bridges are a proven solution for:

    • Replacing one or more missing teeth
    • Preventing healthy teeth from drifting into spaces created by missing teeth
    • Improving a patient’s ability to speak, chew and eat
    Missing tooth bridge replacement

A bridge is a lasting solution for replacing a missing tooth. Bridges are a very effective and safe form of treatment; however, they don’t offer the bone-preservation benefits associated with implants.

Ask your dentist if a bridge is the appropriate treatment solution for your smile.
