Preppies™ have helped me to enjoy the process of cleaning teeth. Preppies are unit dose cups of flour of pumice mixed to a perfect consistency. I used to have my assistant go grab some pumice from a bulk can and mix it with water for me, but sometimes it was too thick and sometimes too thin.

Preppies contain no flavoring agents, oils or fluoride, making it the perfect cleaning agent prior to any adhesive procedure. I use Preppies prior to placing composites, no-prep porcelain veneer impression and bonding, and prior to in-office bleaching procedures.

You could have practiced the rest of your career without Preppies, but once you start using them I doubt you will ever stop.
