Gordon J. Christensen, DDS, MSD, Ph.D.

Dr. Gordon Christensen is a practicing prosthodontist in Provo, Utah. He is director of Practical Clinical Courses and CEO of Clinicians Report. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics; Fellow and Diplomate of the ICOI; and a distinguished member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Christensen and his wife Rella are cofounders of the nonprofit Gordon J. Christensen Clinicians Report® (formerly CRA Newsletter).

Jim Glidewell is the founder and president of Glidewell, the world’s largest privately owned provider of restorative dental solutions. In 1970, Jim officially opened his lab to the public. Still driven by his mission to make restorative dentistry affordable to all, Jim employs a diverse team of over 5,000 employees. Joined in his pursuits are certified technicians, engineers, scientists, clinicians and support personnel, who all believe in his mission of advancing high-quality, cost-efficient materials. In addition to his work in driving change in dentistry, he also serves as an advocate for continued education.

Michael DiTolla, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Michael DiTolla is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, and he is a fellow of the AGD. After working in private practice for 15 years, he became director of clinical education and research at Glidewell, where he gained an intimate knowledge of U.S. dentists’ crown & bridge habits. From 2006 to 2009, Dr. DiTolla led the clinical team at Glidewell that developed and brought BruxZir® Zirconia to market. In 2011, he received the “Most Effective Dentist Educator” award in a nationwide survey of dentists. Four years later, he became the director of clinical affairs at Dentsply Sirona, and in 2017 he was named the vice president of clinical affairs and communications at AEGIS Communications. Dr. DiTolla has given over 1,000 lectures to dentists worldwide, and his online videos have been viewed more than 10 million times by clinicians.

Dr. Anton Misleh is a 1988 graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has been in private practice in San Diego since ’88. Dr. Misleh is a proponent of using occlusal splints to help preserve the dentition of bruxism patients. Dr. Misleh has attended various seminars and training sessions on the topic, including a course at the University of Southern California.

Don Reid, DDS

Don Reid, DDS, practices dentistry in Lake Tahoe, California. Don believes dentistry is primarily a behavioral science. His philosophy: A paperless office and complete treatment planning contribute to client/practice success. In addition to being a recognized speaker, Don is a founder of the Congress of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Academy of Implantologists, American Dental Association and Organization for Conscious Sedation. Don was featured in “On Achieving Excellence” by management guru and best-selling author Tom Peters. He has been a behavioral consultant for Selection Research Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is co-developer of BiteFX Software for understanding TMJ anatomy and disorders.

 

Dean Mersky, DDS

Dr. Dean Mersky, a 1976 graduate of the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, practiced in Manhattan Beach, California, for 26 years. Currently, Dr. Mersky serves as the Director of Clinical Communication for Captek. Dr. Mersky’s dental practice was concentrated in the areas of treatment of the TMJ, dental reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry. His expertise with Captek restorations comes from the almost 2,000 Captek crowns and bridges that he has placed, and the many different uses and clinical trials he has contributed to. Dr. Mersky has authored many articles on the use of Captek and has lectured on the subject for several years. He is a member of the American Association of Dental Aesthetics.
