GLIDEWELL EXPANDS CE OFFERINGS TO UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES
Local clinicians as well as periodontal and general practice residents converged at Temple University in April for a workshop led by implant expert Dr. Paresh Patel. The course, which examined full-arch implant solutions, including the BruxZir® Full-Arch Implant Prosthesis, was composed of both lecture and hands-on components.
Dr. Paresh Patel speaks about full-arch implant restorations during a continuing education course at Temple University in April.
For this course’s debut at Temple, one familiar face on campus was alumnus Dr. Neil Park, vice president of clinical affairs at Glidewell Dental. The visit gave Dr. Park an up-close view of the latest developments at his alma mater and provided valuable insights into how Glidewell Dental can increasingly serve university-based programs across the U.S.
REGIONAL AAID MEETINGS DELIVER ON-POINT COURSES
The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) offered a full lineup of continuing education (CE) courses during the organization’s 2017 regional meetings. The Northeast and Southern District Meeting, held in Pittsburgh in April, featured Dr. Randolph Resnik at the podium and a workshop by Drs. Jack Hahn and Paresh Patel on restoring fully edentulous cases. In June, Dr. Patel headed to Chicago for the Central and Western Districts Meeting, where he lectured at the main podium and conducted a workshop. The June meeting, for which Glidewell Dental was a platinum sponsor, offered 19 hours of CE and was attended by more than 250 doctors, according to the AAID.

DR. CHOI SHARES HOW TO ACHIEVE BIG RESULTS WITH MINI IMPLANTS
Two major dental meetings, on opposite coasts, recently hosted Dr. Raymond Choi, a nationally known educator in the field of small-diameter implants. In May, attendees at the CDA Presents convention in Anaheim, California, learned from Dr. Choi during two half-day lectures and two half-day workshops.
In June, Dr. Choi traveled to the Florida Dental Convention to present his workshop to a sold-out crowd. The two-day workshop gave participants the knowledge and skills to become proficient in placing and restoring small-diameter implants.
