The Centrix GripStrip™ has graced the pages of Chairside^® before, and now that it is available in a variety of grits, it has earned its way back in! The medium grit is the original GripStrip, with a 40-micron finishing end and a 15-micron polishing end. The middle section is uncoated to ease slipping the strip into tight interproximal contacts. The new coarse strip has an 80-micron finishing end and a 40-micron polishing end, while the new fine strip has a 15-micron finishing end and an 8-micron polishing end. After inserting the strip, use the polishing side first for a few strokes to allow the finishing section passage through the contact without undue force, and then go back to the polishing side at the end to smooth. A great update to a great product!
