AAID's LAS VEGAS MAXICOURSE HOSTS DR. PARESH PATEL

In October 2017, Dr. Paresh Patel traveled to Las Vegas to speak to attendees of the AAID’s MaxiCourse. Course participants had the opportunity to learn about the Hahn™ Tapered Implant System (Glidewell Direct; Irvine, Calif.) and its unique blend of innovation and proven features. Dr. Patel also shared case photos and insights gained from his extensive career in private practice. The North Carolina-based clinician has placed more than 5,000 dental implants, and is a frequent lecturer in the U.S. and abroad.

DR. KOSINSKI RECEIVES ADI HUMANITARIAN AWARD

The Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) has honored Dr. Timothy Kosinski, of Bingham Farms, Michigan, with the organization’s Humanitarian Award, presented during the annual ADI meeting held in Atlanta in October 2017.

ADI bestows this award “in recognition of significant contribution to the enhancement of the quality of life and the human condition.” This designation echoes the philosophy of care upheld by Dr. Kosinski, who has donated his services to benefit patients who would otherwise lack treatment.

AAID CONFERENCE FEATURES DYNAMIC SPEAKERS, INCLUDING DRS. HAHN AND PATEL

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) hosted over 1,600 attendees during the 66th AAID Annual Conference, held in San Diego last October. The conference offered 20 hours of CE.

Contributing to the event’s success as a presidential sponsor, Glidewell Dental was pleased to support Dr. Paresh Patel’s multimedia presentation, “Full-Arch Implant Restorations: Monolithic Zirconia or Acrylic Hybrids?” Glidewell Dental also sponsored a hands-on course in which Dr. Jack Hahn discussed implant solutions for fully edentulous patients.
